For more than two decades the Northwest Dispute Resolution Conference has offered a wonderful opportunity for attendees to learn new dispute resolution skills, share ideas with colleagues, catch up with old friends and make new ones. The Northwest Dispute Resolution Conference is a collaborative effort of the following organizations:

  • University of Washington School of Law
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Washington State Bar Association
  • Washington Mediation Association
  • Dispute Resolution Section of the King County Bar Association

The Kennedy Institute Workplace Mediation Research Group was delighted to have been invited to present their story to the conference. In March 2016, Deirdre Curran, Treasa Kenny and Alec Coakley presented “Bridging the Gap Between Workplace Mediation Research and Practice: The Irish Experience” to attendees. The presentation generated much debate and was well recieved.
