Treasa Kenny

Treasa Kenny has been engaged in workplace mediation for over 20 years. Initially it formed part of her work as a HR manager, particularly in relation to finding workable solutions with trade unions and in equality-related matters.

Treasa’s professional interest led to her spending seven rewarding years on the Council of the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland (The MII) where she was directly engaged in the development of the organisation itself and the profession of mediation in Ireland.

On completion of further education in the area, workplace mediation became a substantial interest for Treasa, both in terms of her professional practice and from a research perspective. This interest led to Treasa undertaking a PhD on a part-time basis through University College Dublin.

Treasa has found being part of the KIWMRG collaborative community of practice exciting, challenging and hugely rewarding, both personally and professionally. It also allows her to hone her wonderful baking skills and she continues to “feed” our endeavours with a range of sweet treats.
